Pegasus IT
Pegasus IT provide IT solutions and AI tooling to business. Their WordPress site — several hundred megabytes of files across two databases — was moved off retail shared hosting onto Liga's managed platform, arriving byte-for-byte intact.

The Challenge
Size is what makes a migration like this go wrong. A large WordPress install with more than one database has plenty of places to lose data quietly: a truncated dump, a half-copied uploads directory, or a table that restores with the wrong character set and turns punctuation into mojibake across every page. The failure is rarely dramatic — it is a page nobody checks that has been broken since cutover.
Our Solution
We captured the full file tree and both database dumps as a complete backup set, and kept that snapshot in a private repository so the pre-migration state stayed reproducible rather than living only on the old server. The site was restored to the destination host, its configuration repointed at the new database, and then verified as a whole before any DNS moved — not spot-checked on the homepage.
The Results
The site moved without content loss and now runs on managed hosting with a documented, reproducible backup. If it ever needs to be rebuilt, the entire pre-migration state is on record rather than depending on a provider's retention policy.
